Indonesia preacher pledges allegiance to ISIS  (DAILY STAR)

Good news:   This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.  If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?   Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1John 3.16-18

Good news:   Jesus said, “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”  Revelation 22.12-13
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.  John 3.16-17

Good news:   These are the words of Jesus, the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation… “You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.  Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come and eat with that person, and they with me.”  Revelation 3.14, 17-18, 20
